Lolab July 31: In a tragic incident during the night hours, a kothar (temporary shelter) collapsed in the forest area of Amri Bhak, Warnow, resulting in the death of two individuals on the spot.
The deceased have been identified as Marif Noori, approximately 60 years old, wife of Mohammad Yousuf Mir, resident of Aafan Warnow, and Abid Ahmad Mir, an 8-year-old boy, son of Mohammad Shafi Mir, also a resident of Aafan Warnow in Lolab.
According to local sources, the dead bodies are currently lying at the site of the incident. A group of 10–15 local residents along with a rescue team has moved towards Amri Bhak to assist in the recovery operation.
