Samba (Aug 3): Three rusting artillery shells were discovered along the Basantar River near Palth village in Samba district on Sunday. After local residents alerted the authorities, a bomb disposal squad was dispatched to the scene. The shells were securely removed and detonated in a controlled blast, and no injuries or damage were reported.
