In view of the strike call by Joint Resistance Leadership against the civilian killings, the authorities have the suspended train services across Kashmir.
“We have again suspended train service in the Kashmir valley following a fresh directive from police,” a senior railway official told.
Therefore, he said, no train will chug on Srinagar-Budgam in central Kashmir to Baramulla in the north.
Similarly, all trains will remain suspended on Srinagar-Islamabad-Qazigund in south Kashmir with Banihal in Jammu, he added.
He said this was the third time in July that train services has been suspended in the valley.
The Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL), comprising of Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umer Farooq, and Muhammad Yasin Malik has called for a complete shutdown on today across Kashmir.
