The driver said, “the bus is newly purchased, and we were taking the vehicle to the workshop for some repair work. We haven’t used the bus for commercial use. We were not on duty, so why do we have to wear the uniform”.

A senior traffic officer intervened in the matter, and after fining the driver, he ended the argument. According to the officer, “the bus driver was bringing the bus from the wrong side, and he blocked the whole side of the road. When our officer asked him to pay the challan, he created a ruckus as the fine was heavy and started alleging that my officer abused him, but my officer only asked him to pay the fine as he was not in proper uniform”.
