Theft in Jagti quarters, gold and money stolen

A theft case took place in one if the Jagti quarters where thieves took away gold and cash amount from the house. According to reports, the family went to attend a function and had securely locked the house.

Senior reporter of JK Media, Renu Bala said “This is not the first time robbery has happened in Jagti but many thieves have experienced failure too. The family was out for function and the man of the house also goes to office. As they returned, the door of the house was open, the cupboards were open and the thieves had only stolen cash and gold. Surprisingly, no neighbour knew about it! The owners are doubting the society people.”

“Theft cases have increased over time in Jammu but this isn’t something new. I don’t know why people relate it with abolition of article 370. Anything new comes up be it murder, theft or anything else, people somehow blame the new laws. Everyone needs to aware about what’s happening in the surroundings and inform Police if change is noticed. Also, keep security guards if possible.”
