Terrorist arrested from Kunjwani, Jammu

Hidayatullah Malik, a categorised terrorist has been arrested in Kunjwani area of Jammu. The police has recovered incriminating materials – pistol and a grenade from his possession. The said terrorist is the Chief of Lashkar-e-Mustafa, a front organisation of Jaish e Mohammad in Kashmir Valley.

“Through our sources we were informed about the terrorist to be in a Santro car on Kunjwani road. When our team including me, our SHO and other Police officials went to arrest him, he tried to attack the Police party. But, he has been caught and arrested. I request the residents of Jammu not to fear. No information about any other terrorist has been obtained. The investigation is under process.” SSP Jammu, Sridhar Patil said.
