Several officers suspended in Jammu Kashmir

Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Municipal Council (MC) Anantnag suspended several officers for alleged non-compliance of an order issued by the Council.

The concerned officials were tasked to remove the street vendors within the municipal limits of the district in which they failed and had to face the action.

“In view of non-compliance of order number MC/Estt/Ang/05 of 2020 Dated: 09.01.2021, all the officials who have been deputed for removal of street hawkers/raida walla’s/beat duty are suspended with immediate effect,” reads the order issued by CEO.
