Rehbar-e-khel teachers protest outside BJP office Jammu, demand salary justice

Rehbar-e-teachers today protested outside the BJP office in Jammu. They raised their voices for a salary increase and expressed their struggles since last 3 years. The protesters were stopped by the J&K Police.
One of the protesters said “We are always stopped from keeping our views. If their kids worked for an amount of Rupees 3,000 per month, would they stop them? I’ve done masters in physical education, represented Nationals 12 times as a captain, 3 times represented my State in cricket and what amount am I getting? We have talked to Ravinder Raina Sir several times but all we hear is ‘the work is in progress’. It’s been just one month since the statement and we are on the roads again. I’m sure our files still have dust on them.”

“Dr. Rajender always says about back door entries and casual labour but we are none of them. We were posted in 2017 and informed about the loop holes in the policy. They ensured to correct it but didn’t. It isn’t our fault. We only want a word from them and if they refuse then our protest will continue.” She added.
