U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a sharp warning to Iran, stating that Tehran, under Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has “crossed the red line,” and that the United States military is considering “very strong options” in response.

Speaking to reporters, President Trump said the situation involving Iran is being closely monitored at the highest levels of the U.S. government. While he did not spell out specific actions, the President made it clear that military options are on the table.
“Iran has crossed the red line. The U.S. military is looking at very strong options,”
Trump said.

The remarks come amid escalating tensions between Washington and Tehran, triggered by developments inside Iran and rising regional instability. Trump indicated that while Iranian leadership has shown interest in talks, the United States may not wait indefinitely for negotiations to materialize.
“They want to talk, but sometimes you have to act before talks,”
he added.

U.S. officials say all potential responses are being reviewed, including diplomatic, economic, and military measures. However, no final decision has been announced so far.
Iran, meanwhile, has rejected U.S. warnings, cautioning that any military action would invite retaliation and further destabilize the region. Iranian officials have repeatedly warned that U.S. interests and allies could be targeted in the event of an escalation.
International observers have expressed concern that the latest statements could mark another flashpoint in already volatile U.S.–Iran relations, urging restraint and dialogue to prevent a wider conflict.
As of now, the situation remains fluid, with global attention focused on Washington’s next move and Tehran’s response.
