Dry spell continued badly hitting farming and orchards as rain still eludes Kashmir valley, where a fresh weather warning has been issued on Saturday for isolated thundershowers, lightening and gusty winds during the next four days.
However, dozens of houses besides fruit crops were damaged due to gusty winds in the valley in June and July, when deficit rainfall was recorded in Srinagar.
