Poonch, Dec 11 : The communication system of Jio and Airtel in Poonch city has deteriorated sharply, pushing several neighbourhoods into a severe connectivity crisis. Residents say the network often vanishes completely, and even when there is signal, the internet speed is so poor that making a simple call or sending a basic message becomes unreliable.
People allege that telecom companies keep revising recharge plans, but the quality of service remains unchanged and deeply disappointing. This widening communication breakdown is directly affecting emergency coordination, official work, and day-to-day life across the city.
Frustrated residents have strongly urged the District Administration Poonch to take immediate and high-priority action, directing telecom operators to restore stable connectivity without delay. Locals stress that leaving a sensitive border district like Poonch in a near-blackout communication condition is unacceptable and demands urgent intervention.
