Anantnag, January 19: A workers’ convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was held at Anantnag yesterday which was presided over by the Party Chief Spokesperson, Dr. Mehboob Beg. The convention was attended by party leaders, workers, and supporters from across the district.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Mehboob Beg expressed serious concern over the growing global instability, particularly the escalating tensions between the United States and Iran. He demanded a transparent inquiry to ascertain in which colleges these excess admissions were made and who was responsible.

He urged the youth to remain patient and resilient, assuring them that PDP stands committed to safeguarding their future and that sustained struggle over the next four years is essential to restore fairness and justice.
