SAMBA, DECEMBER 09: A balloon believed to have originated from Pakistan was discovered today in a field belonging to Jagtar Singh, son of Dooni Chand, a resident of Kotli Mirdian. BPP Baspur recovered the balloon and took it into custody, prompting them to initiate a formal investigation to trace its origin and intended purpose. Security agencies have been alerted and are examining whether the balloon represents a harmless object or something more sinister — given past incidents in the region where similar balloons carried suspicious markings.
