One injured after man opens fire over land dispute in Kathua

A melee happened in kalibadi area of Kathua today where firing took place. According to sources, an advocate fired from his gun and the case was taken over by the Kathua Police.

“Diwakar Singh, an advocate fired 2 rounds in air from his pistol. It was fight over land dispute where two parties were subjected to melee and eventually firing happened. 4-5 people have been arrested and they will be punished accordingly. Also, it’s a matter of investigation whether the pistol is licensed or unlicensed.” a Police official said
