Upset with the BJP terming the three parties who had come together to form a new coalition in Jammu-Kashmir as “terror-friendly” parties, National Conference leader and former state chief minister Omar Abdullah says his party will take legal action against BJP.
“This is ridiculous, to say the least. It is outright defamatory. It is too much now. They (BJP) had nothing to say in response to us so they make this defamatory allegation. Till yesterday, they were partners of PDP. “Our party will explore the option of legal action against BJP. Such allegations cannot go unanswered.
Hitting back at Ram Madhav, Omar Abdullah challenged the former to either prove the charges levelled by him or apologise.
I dare you @rammadhavbjp ji to prove your allegation. You have RAW, NIA & IB at your command (CBI too is your parrot) so have the guts to place evidence in the public domain. Either prove this or be man enough to apologise. Don’t practice shoot & scoot politics. https://t.co/KEbOo0z6O2

Because non-BJP parties have the numbers in assembly and are coming together to form a government, they become ‘terror-friendly’ and ‘anti-national’.
This won’t be tolerated,” he said. The J&K Assembly, kept in suspended animation since June when Governor’s Rule was imposed after the BJP ended its alliance with the PDP to bring down the Mehbooba Mufti coalition, was dissolved shortly after PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti and J&K People’s Conference chief Sajad Gani Lone staked separate claims to form a government.
