National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) on Saturday joined the rescue operation underway in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir to locate three truckers feared buried under a landslide.
Three truckers from Punjab, including father-son duo, are believed to have been hit by a landslide on Monday at Battery Cheshma area on the Srinagar-Jammu highway.
SSP Ramban Anita Sharma said that NDRF has joined the rescue operation being carried out by the SDRF, state police and the volunteers from Ramban.
Sharma said that a land excavator is being used to remove debris left behind by the landslide.
The three truckers are feared buried under the massive landslide.
