MLA Ramban, Adv. Arjun Singh Raju, extended heartfelt gratitude to Hon’ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for approving and releasing ₹10 crore for the mitigation and restoration works of Ward No. 1 Nallha and Sunari Nallha in the Ramban constituency. He stated that this significant decision demonstrates the government’s sincere commitment to resolving long-pending issues affecting the safety and infrastructure of the local population.
The MLA highlighted that this long-awaited sanction will enable the construction of durable protection works, proper drainage systems, and strengthened embankments to safeguard homes and public property. The residents of these vulnerable areas have been facing seasonal flooding, erosion, and infrastructure damage for years, and the newly released funds mark a major step toward providing long-term relief.
Adv. Arjun Singh Raju added that the project will bring stability to the region by ensuring controlled water flow and reducing the risk of future damage during heavy rains. He noted that the approval of this project had been a key demand of the community, and the government’s action has brought renewed hope and assurance to the affected families.
