Kulgam, July 15: A mysterious midnight blaze gutted two school buildings in the Dangerpora area of Brinal Lammar in Devsar tehsil of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Officials said that the fire broke out during the midnight and quickly spread, engulfing two adjacent school structures. F&ES personnel along with local residents rushed to the spot and managed to bring the fire under control, preventing further spread to nearby structures.
Fortunately, no loss of life or injury was reported in the incident. However, both buildings suffered significant damage.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
