MeT changes forecast: Check Latest Weather Update of J&K in coming days

With Chillai Kalan getting severe day-by-day Srinagar has recorded the coldest night in the last 10 years.  Last night Srinagar recorded -7 degree Celsius temperature while the temperature in Kashmir was -6.1 degree Celsius. Srinagar is receiving heavy snowfall for many past days because of which the villages have been separated from the main cities. The administration is working hard to restore power and water supplies in all regions of the valley.

Last night the MeT Department changed its weather forecast and has said that the weather will remain clear for now but after 27th January Srinagar can receive heavy snowfall. Earlier the MeT department predicted that Srinagar may receive snowfall on 18th and 19th January but now the weather will remain dry till 20th January. Before 27th January some regions may receive little rainfall.
