BJP State President Ravinder Raina had an interview with JK Media executive Ashish Kohli where he talked about Mehbooba Mufti and her ‘propaganda’ against the abolition of article 370. He also said that Mufti is only concerned about Salahuddin’s kids jobs.

Watch Exclusive interview

Q. Sir Mehbooba Mufti often talks about restoration of article 370. What’s your take on this?

Article 370 was abolished in August 2019. I suppose till now Mehbooba Mufti should have forgotten about it. This article has just become a history now and Mufti would now be able to read about it in books.

Leaders like Mehbooba Mufti who were dependent on terrorism want it to get restored and we can understand why! But remember, it was article 370 that deprived Pakistani refugees and Gujjar Bakarwal from their rights for 70 years.

Such leaders wanted to have their own laws. One Nation – 2 laws! One Nation – 2 Flags! How even is it possible? Doesn’t make a sense at all.

Talking about identities, there are so many States and Union Territories in India. We have Maharashtra, Delhi, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Rajasthan, etc. Every place has it’s own culture, language and identity. We Dogras have our own identity in Jammu, Kashmiris in Kashmir and Buddhists of Leh have their own identity. No one can ever snatch that. It’s just a propaganda to create hate in the minds of the people.

Q. Recently 11 people were fired from their jobs including Salahuddin’s who’s a terrorist, his 2 kids. What do you think?

I think this is a Mehbooba Mufti’s worry right now. She’s concerned about Salahuddin’s kids’ government jobs. But people of Kashmir are aware about his deeds. He bloodshed several poor kids but made his kids work from Jammu and Kashmir Government Department.

Not only Salahuddin, but other Kashmir leaders have sent their kids to Delhi, Mumbai and abroad for jobs but killed a common Kashmiri man. These people are culprits.

Today Jammu and Kashmir has every law of India in working. Anti Corruption Bureau is there. NIA is working wonders by its search operations and that’s a clear reason why these leaders have a problem.

Q. When ED or NIA catch culprits, these leaders call them ‘tools’ of the Centre. Why so?

A Department is doing it’s work. Why would they act as tools? Kashmiri leaders didn’t let the article 370 go off easily for 70 years because all this happened here. Now when NIA, ACB, Human Rights Commission, National Commission for Women, National Commission for STs, SCs and OBCs. They kept Pahadis, Gujjars and other true Indians away from their rights.

Article 370 was a wall of hate and Madam Mufti would only see it in dreams now.

Q. Sir, last question. Mufti often talks about Pakistan in Kashmir, has blocked most Jammu politicians and now suddenly remembers Jammu. What’s all this?

This is because Mufti can see that her control over Kashmir public is losing. She’s giving jobs to Gilani’s and Salahuddin’s kids and sending Kashmir’s youth to Pakistan with guns. Showing concern for Jammu is all a fake game because she doesn’t have the spirit of being a true Indian.

Security forces in Jammu and Kashmir launched a massive search operation in Samba district.

The search operation was launched after suspected drone activities were reported in three different areas of the district, last night.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba Rajesh Sharma said, “Drone activities were suspected at three different areas of Samba district, last night.”

The Border Security Force (BSF) also issued a statement that said, “Some unidentified lights were seen in the sky near the international border in the Samba sector. Few rounds were fired on it and the lights disappeared.”

Earlier on July 16, a drone that was operating around the Jammu Air Base was picked up by the radars of the anti-drone system deployed by the National Security Guard (NSG) there.

The NSG had deployed an anti-drone system in the city after a drone attack took place on the Jammu air base last month.

The Air Force has also taken measures to prevent any such attack in Jammu and other important airbases across the country. It has also taken strict measures to address threats from small drones.

After the Jammu attack, the number of drone sightings has gone up drastically and there have been several instances where the Army and Border Security Forces (BSF) troops at the border have fired at them.
