The mishap happened on Friday afternoon when the girl along with her cousin went for some work in a near the Aharbal waterfall. While taking a selfie with the beautiful background, her foot slipped and she fell in the waterfall.

The locals and SDRF team gathered around to save the girl. She was taken to a Hospital in Manzgam where the Authorities detained her for one hour and was later referred to Kulgam’s Hospital.

“The Hospital lacks facilities. Staff wasted time for interrogation and the Ambulance driver abused us. Girl’s life was more important and could get saved if she was treated on time.” said a family member
