Jammu, May 11: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today paid rich tributes to BSF Braveheart Sub Inspector Md Imteyaz and offered condolences to the family of Additional District Development Commissioner, Rajouri, Dr Raj Kumar Thapa.

The Lieutenant Governor laid a wreath and paid homage to Sub Inspector Md Imteyaz, who attained martyrdom during unprovoked firing by Pakistan along the International Boundary in the RS Pura area of Jammu.
“I salute the supreme sacrifice of our BSF braveheart Sub Inspector Md Imteyaz. His valour and sacrifice will never be forgotten. The entire nation stands firmly with the family of the martyr in this hour of grief,” he said.
Earlier in the day, the Lieutenant Governor also visited the family of late Dr Raj Kumar Thapa in Jammu. Dr Thapa served as the Additional District Development Commissioner of Rajouri and was remembered as a committed public servant.
“Dr Thapa’s contribution to the processes of J&K’s development is immense. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and numerous admirers in this hour of grief. I pray for peace of the departed soul,” the Lieutenant Governor said
