India started its first phase of Corona vaccination and more than 1 lakh frontline workers got vaccinated on Day 1. Since it will take some time for the common public to get vaccinated there are confusions among people who will be vaccinated and who will not. So, to clear the confusion today we talked with Dr. Arun Sharma who briefed us about all the confusion.
“Following the procedure firstly all the health workers i.e all the people working in hospitals will receive the vaccination then all the security forces and fire brigade forces will receive the vaccination and thirdly all the people above the age of 50 years will be vaccinated then only the common people will get the vaccine but in between the vaccine will be available in markets so the person can take the vaccine from private hospitals and medical stores”. Informing about who will receive the vaccination he said, “only people below the age of 18 years and pregnant women will not be vaccinated”. He further added, ” today people will be vaccinated in a few centers but from Monday the vaccination centers will be established in all the hospitals”.
