In a significant public-oriented initiative, Kathua Police on Sunday returned 74 recovered mobile phones, valued at around ₹15 lakh, to their rightful owners.
The mobile phones, including several Apple iPhones, were traced and recovered from different parts of the district after being reported missing or stolen at various police stations.Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kathua, Mohita Sharma (IPS), handed over the devices to the owners during a formal event at the District Police Headquarters.
