Kashmir railways likely to resume services from Feb 17

Kashmir railways – the train from Banihal to Baramulla is likely to resume from February 17 after a long period of 1.5 years.

After 15th August, 2019 when Jammu & Kashmir became UT, the railway services continued for only 10-12 days while got paused due to Covid-19. Due to paused railway services, excess traffic was noticed on both the sides in the valley.

Kashmir University is also likely to resume classes of the last semester students from February 15. After classes being resumed in Jammu from 1st Feb, the students of Kashmir University will have their degree classes from this month.

Only last semester students would be allowed in the Hostels, however, the Administration hasn’t given any official notice.
