The Jammu and Kashmir Finance Department has directed all administrative departments to begin preparing budget estimates for 2026-27 and revised estimates for 2025-26.
According to the directive:
The process at the DDO level must be completed by October 20.
The process at the HOD level must be completed by October 25.
Final scrutiny and submission to the Finance Department must be completed by October 30.
The Finance Department has emphasized strict adherence to the timelines to ensure smooth budget preparation.
