Jammu, Dec 19: The Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister will chair a high-level meeting on December 20 at the Civil Secretariat in Jammu to review winter preparedness ahead of the expected snowfall on December 21 and 22. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 11 am.

The review will focus on arrangements for snow clearance, power supply, water availability, disaster management and the delivery of essential services during harsh winter conditions.

Senior officials, including the Chief Secretary, Advisor to the Chief Minister, Financial Commissioners of Jal Shakti, Power and PWD, Principal Secretary Disaster Management, and Secretaries of Food, Health, Urban Development, Forest and Transport departments, will attend the meeting. Divisional Commissioners of both Jammu and Kashmir will also participate.

IGP Kashmir and IGP Traffic will join the meeting through video conference. Authorities have been directed to ensure full preparedness and smooth functioning of essential services during the anticipated snowfall.
