Jammu, Jan 22: An employee of the University of Jammu was found hanging from a tree inside the campus under mysterious circumstances on Thursday, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Balwan Singh, aged between 42 and 45, an employee of the MBA department and a resident of Hiranagar in Kathua district. He was found hanging from a tree within the university grounds.
Police said Singh was residing in the staff quarters on the university campus. An investigation has been initiated to determine the circumstances leading to his death.
