Jammu, Jan 27 – The Jammu–Srinagar National Highway (NH-44) has been closed for traffic on Monday following fresh snowfall near the Navyug Tunnel, officials said.
No vehicles are being allowed to move in either direction between Jammu and Srinagar. Meanwhile, the Mughal Road, Srinagar–Sonamarg–Gumri (SSG) Road, and Sinthan Road remain closed due to adverse weather and poor road conditions.
Authorities have advised travelers to avoid these routes until they are fully cleared and declared safe. Commuters have also been cautioned against following rumours and are urged to rely solely on official traffic updates.
