Jammu: Man Found Dead Under Mysterious Circumstances, Family Suspects In-laws of killing

Heartbreaking news coming from the Dogar area of Badiyan village, Samba where a 34-year-old man named Sandeep Kumar was found dead under mysterious circumstances. The family members of Sandeep Kumar are confident that Sandeep has not attempted suicide but he was murdered by his in-laws and now they are protesting on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway to demand justice for their loved one. According to Sandeep’s family for the past few months, Sandeep’s in-laws don’t allow him to return to his home and also didn’t allow his mother to meet him.

While talking to the media Sandeep’s mother said “we received a phone call from an unknown number and the person I formed us that my son is seriously ill and he has been taken to hospital. When we reached the hospital his body was lying there. The area under the neck of his body has turned blue. On 8th March his marriage will complete 2 years. For the past 4 months, he was not allowed to come to his house, and if he returns them his in-laws forcefully take him back. Whenever my elder son and I visit him, his in-laws harass us and never allow him to meet. His wife used to say that no one cares for Sandeep and no one gives him money. My elder son has a family to look after and me being an old woman from where I can give money”.

A local said “last night we got the news. Now all the villagers have united and we will continue our protest till justice is served to our loved one. We want a proper investigation should take place in the matter and if the police administration fails to provide justice then we will block the National Highway also”.

The body of Sandeep is still in the hospital for the postmortem and soon it will be sent for its last rites.
