The shrine board has been organising ‘Pratham Pooja’ on Jyeshtha Purnima every year to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva for the peaceful conduct of the annual ‘Yatra’.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic situation, Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2021 has been cancelled, but the shrine board is committed to carry out all religious rituals as per past practice, the CEO said.

Speaking with the media, Ankur Sharma said, “today is the black day in the history of J&K, and this black day is being observed in all the ten districts of Jammu. The Central Government has called for restoring the democratic process in J&K but has left Jammu out from the exercise. The gang, which was labeled as Anti-National by the Central Government, has received the invitation, and by talking with them, the Central Government will decide the future of J&K”.

“The Central Government has made a contract with Kashmiri Parties, and that’s why they haven’t invited any party from Jammu; otherwise, they can’t execute their contract. They have not only done partiality with Jammu, but they have sold Jammu. Ek Jutt Jammu will fight for separate statehood”, Ankur added.
