Tanish Bhat is a Jammu based Engineer turned model and actor presently working in Mumbai. Tanish was born on August, 31st in Jammu and belongs to a well educated and reputed family; his father is a Sr. Lecturer in Chemistry.
He took to modelling and acting at the age of 20 and got his first break for a cameo role in Balakrishna’s Telugu movie ‘Dictator’. He has done many fashion shows, ramp shows and fashion weeks.
Taking his passion forward, he again got a big break in Bollywood movie ‘MS Dhoni’ in 2016.
Tanish Bhat got his early education from Jammu’s Guru Gobind School Kunjwani and did his 12th from his native area. He got his early education from Jammu’s Guru Gobind School Kunjwani and did his 12th from his native area.
After his 12th, he did his B.tech in civil engineering and also he went to Kerala for further studies in Aviation from Rajiv Gandhi Aviation Academy Kerala for Student Pilot License & FRTOL.
In a latest show for MTV, Tanish was one of the lead participants in ‘Dating in the dark-Season 1’, hosted by Norah Fatehi, the famous Bollywood model.
Besides, this Jammu lad has also acted in many TV serials like ‘Savdhaan India’.
In Conversation with JK Media, he said that he hasn’t forgotten his roots and plans to pave way for talented people of his state, J&K, on priority and intend to launch several projects in Jammu quite soon, thus providing a platform for the talented actors in J&k.
Recently, he was in Kashmir as a Celebrity Star guest in Kashmir festival 2018.
He believes that there is immense talent in Jammu and also that people of J&K against all odds have achieved big in entertainment and fashion industry.
According to Tanish, the only set back is that people here lack right platform to show case their talent and improve their skills.
He got a break in Blue Hawk Production for a lead role in video song “Dil Diyan Gallan”.
Stating the amount of support he gets from his family, he expressed that his family fully supports him.
“They have realized that modeling and acting is my passion and that they are very happy now but they still want me to pursue career in civil services”, he added.
He asserted that one should always follow his/ her passion because passion is what that drives life.
