Jammu: 2 accused arrested in murder case

On intervening night of 03-01-2021, an information was received at P/S Nowabad that one Sarik Mohammad S/O Mir Mohammad R/O Satwari Jammu has been attacked by some persons engaged in argument. The argument took the violent turn and the victim was attacked with sharped edged weapon that caused grevious injuries due to which victim today succumbed to the injuries.

In this case FIR No. FIR NO. 2/21 u/s 302, 34 IPC 4/25 ARMS ACT stands registered at PS Nowabad.

On this special teams of P/S Nowabad were constituted to nab the accused . The team led by I/C PP Canal Road Ravinder singh rounded up suspects and after strenuous efforts two accused persons namely Gurdev singh @sonu s/o kimat Singh r/o Talab Tillo and Gurdeep Singh @ rimple s/o Paramjeet Singh r/o 138, Mohinder nagar, Bhagwati nagar were arrested.

Further investigation of the case is going on. Strict legal action will be ensured against the culprits.
