J-K: Grenade lobbed at police vehicle in Kishtwar

A policeman suffered minor injuries after terrorists hurled a grenade at the security forces in Dadpeth area of Kishtwar district in Jammu and Kashmir on Friday.
The attack took place when a police vehicle was on patrol from Kishtwar to Chatroo in Jammu and Kashmir and a grenade was lobbed on it near Dadpeth but it missed the target.
No loss of life or injury has been reported so far.As per our sources few unidentified people attacked a police van with a hand grenade.
Traffic movement on the attacked road suspended.
Such an attack has taken place after a gap of 2 years and the attack has raised the tensions of intelligence
agencies.
The inspector, who seems to be the target of the grenade attack, escaped unhurt. In the last few months, the terrorists have been trying to revive their activities in that area. In the pas also, they targetted Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the RSS workers.
The area has been cordoned off and a search operation has been launched to nab the culprits.
