Inflation in India puts Modi Sarkar under pressure

Published

The hike in prices of daily household essential items like cooking oil, vegetables, milk and gas cylinders has put common people in trouble and Modi Government under pressure.

As per Financial times, India reported retail inflation of 6.3 per cent in May and June, as increasing costs of food and fuel pushed the consumer price index above the central bank’s 6 per cent target for the first time this year. Wholesale inflation hit a record high of almost 13 per cent in May, before dipping to 12 per cent in June.

The petrol and diesel have crossed the Rs. 100 mark in many cities include Jammu. Where people are still bucking up with the economic loss due to covid-19 pandemic, it has emerged as a challenge for them.

Opposition political parties have taken a stand against BJP for the growth in prices. However, the lower and the middle class of India still remains the most affected group of people.

According to them, the boy was innocent and didn’t have any personal grudges. However, the dead body’s torn clothes and broken bones have proved it to be a murder.

“It was morning when my son went for a haircut. Someone informed me about his death in the evening. While I rushed to the place, I saw around 200 people around the dead body. It’s a murder and we want justice.” said the boy’s father

“It’s a forestry area where hardly people are seen. How did the boy reach there? He was first killed and then thrown from a height. The Police hasn’t helped us yet. In fact, they told us to compromise. This is beyond limits.” added another

The family has demanded justice and requested Jammu and Kashmir Police to investigate the matter. “Police must check the call records of the boy’s phone and find the culprit. We want the murderer to be sentenced to death.” they said

Inflation is at an all-time high in the Country. The petrol and diesel prices are increasing rapidly, and the people of J&K suffered a significant setback when they came to know that ethanol is being mixed in the fuel. Several daily wagers, Asha workers, Dental Surgeons are on the roads protesting to demand justice for them. Taking a jibe at all these JK Panthers Party State Secretary Gagan slammed the Union Government and demanded the resignation of all Union Ministers, including PM Narendra Modi.

Watch Exclusive Interview

While speaking, Gagan said, “we should be thankful to the government that we finally see good days. But, if BJP talks about these good days, we demand that they return us our bad days. When BJP was in opposition, their leaders were the first to come on the roads with LPG cylinders wearing garlands of onion and potatoes. Instead of hunger strikes, people should now adopt political trends to raise their voices as with early trends, the Union Government will not take any action”.

“In the BJP’s regime, unemployment soared, inflation has raged, and GDP has deteriorated. People have voted them to bring down all these matters, but instead, they have contributed to the issues. Now it’s high time, and the Modi Government should step down. Our BSF/CISF Aspirants, PDD/PWD Daily wagers, Dental Surgeons are on the road. Many of our daily wagers die every day, and there is no one to compensate them”, he added.
