India permits Imran Khan’s aircraft to use its airspace for travel to Sri Lanka

In the ongoing conflicts between India and Pakistan India has allowed Imran Khan’s aircraft to use Indian airspace for his travel to Sri Lanka.
In 2019, Pakistan denied opening its airspace for PM Modi’s flight to the US and Saudi Arabia. Then the Indian aircraft took a long route to reach the destinations.
Imran Khan will be leaving today from Islamabad for his 2-day maiden visit to Sri Lanka. Earlier the Sri Lankan Government canceled Imran’s speech in Sri Lankan Parliament as they believed that Imran would address the Kashmir issue in their parliament and that can affect Sri Lanka’s relation with India.
