A mass protest /dharna of Jammu Kashmir Female Multipurpose Health Worker Welfare Association Jammu province under the banner of Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation today entered 52nd day.
They are protesting in favour of their fulfilling their long pending demands including permanent solution of salary head 2211, delinking the CSS salary from the funding sources (Corpus-delinking), fixation of job functions of FMPHWs at par with other working categories of Health Sector, up gradation of the post of FMPHW on the analogy of Pharmacist, Lab Tech X-Ray Tech, Dental Tech and Ophth Tech.
Health Workers in Udhampur and in sub-district hospital Bishnah, today extended their support in favour of the demands of Female Multipurpose health workers. They held a token strike of three hours and suspended emergency and other services to protest in favour of FMPHWs who are protesting for several months now.
President of J&K Employees Federation, Dheeraj Sharma said that we have appealed to Govt multiple times to fulfill long pending demands of FMPHWs but administration has turned deaf ears to the demands.
