Godi gang wants to defame PDP: Mehbooba Mufti

The People’s Democratic Party office, according to the 3^rd list of Roshni Act released by the J&K administration is located on illegally occupied 3 kanals of land in Jammu’s Sunjwan area.

To this, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti refuted the reports on encroachment and told that the Godi gang wants to defame PDP. She talked to Gulistan News about it.

She said “BJP is frustrated since the day so many groups decided to contest the election together. Everyone knows that PDP’s Jammu office is in Gandhinagar and both our offices of Jammu & Kashmir are in Government buildings for which we pay the required rent. Since 1 year, they are finding evidences to defame us but when they don’t, they put up stupid allegations and at present they are trying their level best to stop PAGD for their back door entry.”

“Our party doesn’t have any office in Sunjwan. If a party member has raised the party’s flag at his residence in Sunjwan, that’s a different thing! How does my name come in that case? I’m not responsible for it. Unfortunately, Godi gang without checking any facts has spread the news and everyone knows about it till now through news channels. They want to defame us. They can arrest me (as they have done it before) but only if they have proof. I’m ready. They don’t want anyone to talk about article 370 but it isn’t possible. They want to make J&K like Gujarat but the people of J&K will not let them.” She added.

When asked about will she be able to live up to the expectations of the people this time unlike the previous time, she said:

“When in 2015 we joined hands with BJP, we did it for the Muslims of our country so that they live in a safe environment. Why is the Government so frustrated if so many groups have come together? They want us to be out of the upcoming DDC elections but we would have been called Pakistanis if had not contested for the elections. They arrested Waheed Rehman Para because he also filled the form. My message to the people is that vote for us – the people who will listen and support you so that Delhi’s agenda is not applicable here.”
