GMC Jammu Recruitment 2021: Government Medical College and Associated Hospitals, Jammu, (Government Medical College and Associated Hospitals, Jammu) has issued official notification for recruitment to the posts of Junior Staff Nurse.

Under this, appointments will be made on a total of 150 posts. In such a situation, whoever wants to apply for these posts, can apply online till 20 May.

As per the notification issued by GMC, the candidates should have a BSc degree from any recognized institute for the posts of Junior Staff Nurse. In addition, the candidate should have a diploma in Junior Staff Nurse Training. At the same time, the maximum age of the candidates applying for these posts should be 45 years.

 

Candidates applying online for the post of Junior Staff Nurse will be given a salary of Rs 14500 per month. Apart from this, candidates can visit the official website for more information related to this recruitment.

 

Apart from this, recently recruitments were held on various posts in degree colleges of Jammu division of Jammu and Kashmir. Among them, recruitment was held for the posts of Lecturer, Librarian, Teaching Assistant and Physical Training Instructor.

 

These recruitments have been made for the Government Degree Colleges of Jammu Division under the Higher Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir. This recruitment was being done under Academic Arrangement for the academic session 2021-2021. The last date to apply online for these posts i.e. May 11, 2021

The government created 10 posts in the J&K Service Selection Board (SSB).

These posts will include four posts of Section Officers and six posts of Head Assistants.

“Sanction is hereby accorded to the creation of four posts of Section Officers in Pay Level-7 (44900-142400) and six posts of Head Assistants in Pay Level-68 (35600-112800) by corresponding reduction of eight posts of Junior Scale Stenographers in Pay Level-68 (35600-112800) and five posts of Orderlies in Pay Level SL-1(14800-47100) in the Jammu and Kashmir Scale Services Selection Board,” read GAD order number 527.

“The order is issued with the concurrence of the Finance Department conveyed vide U.O No.A/70 (2014)-1-214 dated 22.03.2021,” further read the order issued by the Commissioner Secretary to the Government M K Dwivedi.

J&K Police Recruitment 2021: Check details Inside

Giving a fresh impetus to the recruitment process which had slowed down in wake of the ongoing Covid pandemic, Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha Friday approved the proposal of recruitment of 800 Sub Inspectors in the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

In a historic reform aimed at ensuring more transpareny and fairness in the overall recruitment process, the Lt Governor also approved the selection process of all Non-Gazetted level posts in all the three departments i.e., Police, Prisons and Fire and Emergency Services departments through the Services Selection Board (SSB).

The selections to the posts will be based on written and physical test. The Committee for physical endurance test shall be constituted by the SSB in consultation with the Government and the number of people to be called for physical fitness test will be based on the pattern adopted by some of the States/Union Territories. The entire process for fitness test shall be duly video-graphed for the purpose of transparency.

Further, to address the long standing issues of seniority hampering the career progression of police officials at different levels, now a common seniority of the Sub Inspectors (SIs) recruited against the Direct Recruitment vacancies in the Armed and the Executive Wing, through a combined examination, will be maintained for ensuring smooth career progression of the Police officers.

Pertinently, the announcement of recruitment comes two days after the Lt Governor noted that the UT administration is moving ahead in direction of expediting the process for recruitment of the 25,000 promised jobs in the public sector/government departments to empower the youths of Jammu and Kashmir.

He observed that around 18,000 posts have been advertised by Services Selection Board (SSB) for recruitment in various departments and more posts are being identified gradually.

Outlining that the Youths of J-K have a key role to play in the overall development of the region, the Lt Governor asserted that J-K government is planning to reach out to 50,000 youth for financial assistance under the next leg of Back to Village program, the details of which would be finalized soon.

He noted that, as on date, the Jammu and Kashmir Bank has advanced more than Rs 340 crores to as many as 19,600 youth from across the UT, empowering them financially to pursue their dreams and to create livelihood opportunities for others as well.
