Srinagar, Jan 4: Four tourists from Kerala were injured in a road accident at the Barsoo area of Awantipora in south Kashmir on Sunday morning.
Officials said the tourists were travelling in a passenger vehicle when it was allegedly hit by an unidentified truck near Barsoo, resulting in injuries to all four occupants.
The injured were initially taken to Sub-District Hospital Pampore, from where they were referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for advanced treatment. Officials said all the injured are residents of Kerala and their condition is stable.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further investigation to ascertain the circumstances leading to the accident.
