Srinagar, August 18 :- Jammu and Kashmir is set to host the first-ever Khelo India Water Sports Festival at the iconic Dal Lake, located at the foothills of the Zabarwan mountain range. The three-day festival will take place from August 21 to 23, bringing together over 800 athletes and officials representing 28 sports from eight union territories across the country.

Visitors and participants will experience cultural displays from communities including Kashmiri, Gujjar and Bakerwal, Dard Shina, and Dogri, highlighting the rich heritage of the region.
