Srinagar, Dec18 : A fire broke out inside a temple (Mandir) located within the Headquarters of 49 Battalion CRPF at Karanagar, Srinagar, early Thursday morning.
According to officials, the fire erupted at around 9:55 am. Fire and Emergency Services teams rushed to the spot immediately and prevented the flames from spreading further.
Divisional Fire Officer said the fire broke out inside the Mandir due to a Deepak (oil lamp). He confirmed that no injuries were reported in the incident.
“He further said that the fire was brought under control promptly,” the official added.
Authorities said the situation is fully under control.
