Exit poll of DDC elections Jammu and Kashmir

All the 8 phases of District Development Council (DDC) elections of Jammu and Kashmir have come to an end successfully with an overall turnout of 51% polling. The elections took place from 28th November to 19th December. These were the first major elections held in the UT after the abolition of article 370 and 35A.
Jammu and Kashmir have 140 DDCs each — elections were held for all 280 seats. Apart from DDCs, elections were also held for 935 panchayat halqas and 11814 vacant panch constituencies in the Kashmir Division. And in the Jammu Division, 135 panchayat halqas and 339 vacant panch constituencies went to the polls.
The polling turnout in each phase was as follows-
Exit poll of the voting has been calculated by the JK Media. According to their calculations, BJP will lead the elections in Jammu with 60 seats while PAGD will be leading the elections in Kashmir with 102 seats.

The counting of votes for the DDC polls, which were held along with byelections to panchayats, will be held on December 22 and then the polling results will be declared.
