Doda Police foiled a bovine smuggling bid in the Assar area, rescuing 13 animals from a vehicle (JK17 A 1101) after the driver fled under the cover of darkness. The vehicle was seized on the spot, and due to the gravity of the offence, police immediately wrote to ARTO Kishtwar for action. Acting promptly, ARTO Kishtwar, Tasleem Wani (JKAS), ordered the suspension of the vehicle’s Registration Certificate and Route Permit.This operation was conducted by Adil Rishu DySP Doda and overall supervision of SSP Doda Sandeep Mehta
