Anguish over the dilapidated condition of the road at village Nehriya, district Poonch, the residents criticized concerned authorities for not paying heed towards their grievances.
Castigating the government apathy over the lack of better connectivity in the district, Inhabitants at village Nehriya of Poonchdistrict are up in arms against the administration for ‘failing to take steps for the wellbeing of residents’.
Talking to JK Media, the residents alleged, “the road of the village has virtually been turned into pool of water due to incessant rains which is continued from last night making difficult for traffic movement.
“Due to absence of drainage system along the road is the main cause of the water logging during rains,” the locals alleged. Many vehicles were seen stuck in the water logging and were struggling to get out of the situation. They told,’ despite repeated approach to the concerned administration nothing has been done so far on the ground causing difficulty for the people. They demanded the government to address their issue as soon as earliest.
