Delhi violence marked as black spot in Indian history: Kavinder Gupta

Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta today condemned the violence and mayhem during farmers’ tractor rally in Delhi on Republic Day.

He said that the violence unleashed in Delhi by anti-social elements on Republic Day shall be marked as the Black Spot in the history of independent India. He said that anti-national elements after getting funds from enemies of India living abroad have committed this sin on the auspicious day of January 26, 2021. He said disrespect to Tricolour is criminal act which the anti nationals have committed at Red Fort under the guise of protesting farmers.

He said that it is time to forget political and ideological differences and stand strong against the enemies of nation, who have instigated innocent farmers by way of providing funds and brainwashing them through misuse of social media sites. He said that already much damage has been caused to nation’s pride and therefore it is in the interest of one and all to initiate efforts to resolve all the issues amicably by sitting across the table. “The warpath which the so called farmer leaders have taken to counter government stand is in no way justified and should be backtracked as soon as possible”, he maintained adding that those doubting the integrity of PM Modi led dispensation are doing biggest mistake of their life as the country will never get a prime minister as strong as Narendra Modi and it is the time to support him and steer the nation to next level of peace, progress and prosperity.

Earlier, Kavinder accompanied by Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta held an extensive tour of Gandhi Nagar Constituency’s ward nos. 47, 48 and 53 and assessed the problems which the people were facing. He gave on spot directions to concerned officials to cater to the needs of people as early as possible. The main issues which came to fore during former deputy chief minister’s tour include potable water and power cuts, dilapidated roads and drains, and street lights. The BJP leader assured that he will place all the demands at the appropriate forums for early redressal.
