New Delhi:
Multiple court complexes across the national capital were briefly evacuated on Tuesday morning after Delhi Police received an email claiming explosive devices had been planted at several locations. Early checks, however, have not revealed any suspicious object so far.

According to officials, the email was sent around 9 am from an ID claiming affiliation with a banned terror outfit. The message warned of bombs allegedly placed at Patiala House, Saket, Rohini, and Tis Hazari court complexes, as well as two CRPF schools in Dwarka and Prashant Vihar.

Security teams immediately moved in to clear the premises. Court staff, lawyers, and visitors were asked to vacate the buildings as Bomb Detection and Disposal Squads (BDDS) and Crime Branch personnel conducted thorough inspections.

A senior police officer said, “We received an email stating that bombs were placed in different courts and two CRPF schools. All locations named in the email are being checked. Nothing has been found so far, but inspections are still underway.”

Police also confirmed that efforts are on to trace the sender of the threatening email. Cyber teams have been roped in to examine the origin and route of the message.

The threat comes just days after a blast near Delhi’s Red Fort on November 10, which claimed 11 lives and triggered heightened security across the city. Officials, however, said it is too early to link Tuesday’s threats with the previous attack.

Due to the evacuation, work in several courts, including Saket, remained suspended for nearly two hours, the Saket Bar Association confirmed.

Security agencies continue to monitor the situation closely as checks remain in progress.
