Delhi Blast: A call reporting a blast near the Radisson Hotel in Delhi’s Mahipalpur was received on Thursday morning, prompting an immediate response from police and fire brigade teams. The caller informed authorities that the loud noise was heard while they were traveling to Gurugram.
Upon reaching the location, officials found no evidence of any explosion. During local inquiries, a guard confirmed that the sound had actually come from the rear tyre of a DTC bus traveling towards Dhaula Kuan, which had burst.
Authorities reassured the public that the situation is normal and there is nothing to worry about, advising residents to remain calm and report any suspicious activity.
The Delhi Fire Department stated that three fire engines were promptly dispatched to the scene after the call at 9:18 AM, and police inspection confirmed that no suspicious objects were found.
