A delegation of Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan (DSS) led by its Founder President Choudhary Lal Singh, met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Sh. Singh apprised Governor about the Organization’s aims and objectives and presented its Vision document having 25 points formula for upholding Dogra identity and preservation of rich cultural and historical heritage of Dogras.
The delegation demanded further investigation by the CBI into the Rassana Case; declaration of Maharaja Hari Singh’s Birthday as a State Holiday; provision of Chief Minister on rotational basis between Jammu and Kashmir Province; and conducting election on seats reserved for PoK in the J&K Assembly.
Governor assured due examination of the demands and urged the DSS to work towards public welfare.
