DDC polls kickstarted political process from deep freeze… will create new leadership: Omar Abdullah

J&K Former Chief Minister and Vice President of National Conference Omar Abdullah today said “after DDC elections a new leadership will be born in J&K. Omar while addressing a press conference gave this big statement. He further said “that the Gupkar Alliance is cleared in their mission. Earlier we boycotted the DDC elections but later we contested and became the largest alliance in the UT”.
Slamming BJP he said ” after the abrogation of Article 370 BJP was confident of winning all the elections of J&K but their confidence was broken by the people of J&K in the DDC polls. BJP also tried to dissolve the regional parties of J&K but in the DDC polls, NC remained the largest party in Kashmir valley and also won many seats in Jammu”. He also said that the “assembly elections will not be held soon anytime in J&K as the Central Government has to make many preparations”.
A few days back NC President Farooq Abdullah and PDP President Mehbooba Mufti also said that our vision is cleared as there were reports that all is not well in the Gupkar Alliance.
